Michelle Nocito is Principal Partner at CapWealth, responsible for ensuring clients have access to leading wealth solutions. She is passionate about collaborating with women to help them pursue financial strength and independence. She believes that clients deserve to work with an advisory team that takes the time to have deep conversations and understand the unique challenges they face.
Michelle has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining CapWealth, she operated her own financial planning firm. Her past experience also includes serving as a vice president for PNC Financial Services and as a managing director at Ameriprise Financial Services.
Michelle has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Drexel University. She is passionate about financial education and serves as an adjunct professor at Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC), teaching both Micro- and Macro-economics. She holds the Chartered Retirement Plan Counselor (CRPC®)* and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) designations.
Michelle is a member of the Voorhees Township Committee and serves as deputy mayor and township public safety director. She also serves on the board of directors for the NJ Planning Officials. She previously served as the PFA co-president for E.T. Hamilton School in Voorhees, as the president of the Voorhees Diversity Committee, and on the Voorhees Township Swim Club Board.
Michelle was named one of SJ Magazine’s “27 Leading Ladies to Watch” in 2014, and is a past winner of the Camden County Martin Luther King Freedom Award. In addition to giving back to her community, Michelle enjoys competing in full and half marathons. She finds that running races helps her build the mental strength necessary to overcome challenges that might otherwise seem insurmountable.
She and her husband are the proud parents of two children and five dogs.
